Don't believe me?

Quite possibly my favorite pet inclusion ever - I love how the photographer snuck her off to get some solo portraits in her wedding attire.

That look of adoration. Any dog owner knows that look.

Two dogs in love? Are you kidding me?
And then, as I was preparing this post, a miraculous thing happened... I stumbled upon these beauties via the fabulous One Love Photo and could not love them more.

If this last one doesn't say family then I am not sure what does.
And then it hit me, this is also a wonderful opportunity just to have those pro-photos of your furry family member [I refuse to call them "friend" since anyone who has ever owned a dog knows they are so much more than that].
So, what about you? Are you going to include your fur-baby in your wedding in some way? Or, like me, are you going to always regret that you missed that opportunity?

Love it! Especially those last 2 photos!
I wish we could include our two bullies in our wedding but neither are very well behaved. The one gets WAY too excited when he sees other people and could make for a disaster!
Our grooms cake is going to be a 2-d cake to look like our bullies so at least we will remember them that day!
Aww this post makes me so sad!! We desperately wanted to include our Daisy (jack russel mix) in our day, but the logistics just didn't work - indoor wedding, 30 minutes from home.
I absolutely adore the first picture...I most definitely would have loved to see my Daisy in pearls!! Too cute!
We thought about including our basset hound in the ceremony, until we moved it to indoors to be on the safe side...but we figured we would just be tying someone up to have to watch her the whole time. Chances are she'd be pooped by the reception. But we plan on including her in our engagement pictures to make it up to her.
My friend and her husband included their black lab and golden in their outdoor ceremony. I thought it was really sweet, and they got some great pictures of the family!
She paid a college student who was a trusted acquaintance to drive the dogs to the ceremony and take them home after the pictures. It worked out great.
I definitely regret not being able to have our dog involved in our wedding! We didn't have her when we had our e-pics taken, and then our wedding was at a church, so no doggie allowed there! Well, I think the lack of our dog in pictures means we'll have to have "family" pictures taken in the near future!
We were going to..but they don't allow pets at the hotel...bummer!!
