Inspiration: Regal Purple

A week late, but here is the next inspiration board. Julia from Paper Ballerinas e-mailed me about her formal deep purple wedding. She explained that she wanted things to be very elegant with just a touch of soft vintage. She left accent colors mostly up to my discretion so I kind of let the board take me where it would.

And here is Julia's regal purple wedding:

Somehow, I found myself drawn mostly to a soft pinky lavender and cream as accent colors. The purple is so strong and vibrant a color all on its own that it is almost as though it doesn't need much to accentuate it. Julia, I'm not sure that this helps you with your accent color dilemma, but I hope that you do like it and that maybe, just maybe you can pull some kind of inspiration from it.
