Model in a Bottle

You know a while ago (fine, a long, long while ago) I promised a review on the makeup sealer aptly titled "Model in a Bottle." You can see my original post here. Well, I've finally had a chance to thoroughly test this product and (drum roll please)...

I'm thrilled to announce that it is spectacular! On a normal day I feel like my makeup has faded or mostly worn off about 5-6 hours after its application (without excessive sweating or humidity involved). But I'm proud to say that with "Model in a Bottle" my makeup (yes, even my mascara) was on long, long after its normal threshold.


To apply, I closed my eyes and spritzed two sprays across the face (one mainly on the left side and one mainly on the right side). I left my eyes closed for about 10 seconds to allow it to dry (just a disclaimer -- it does smell a little like hairspray and your face may feel strange for 1-2 minutes after application). Once dry, you shouldn't feel or smell any difference whatsoever -- except, of course, you won't need to re-apply you makeup for a much greater length of time (if at all)!

So, if you need two sprays per day and use it everyday, you should be good on one bottle for about 5 months (the website says each bottle is good for 300 sprays). Not too shabby if you ask me!

Have any of you tried this or something like it? I sure wish I had known about it on my wedding day -- it might have avoided (or at least tempered) the fiasco mentioned here!
